About this plugin

Material UI Sync generates a production-ready theme from a customized Material UI Design Kit.

The following Design Kit customizations are currently supported:

Design tokens: The generated theme includes customized color palettes, typography styles, breakpoints, spacing values, border radii, and shadows.

Component styles: The Sync plugin generates theme code for component customizations. This feature is currently limited to the Button and Switch components. Support for more components is coming soon.

The plugin also provides a Storybook preview so you can check out the generated theme applied to Material UI directly from within Figma.

Please note that Material UI Sync is meant to be used combined with the Material UI for Figma Design Kit v5.16.0 or later.
