Select a Rectangle, Frame, or Text in your Figma fileOpen the Split & Merge pluginChoose the number of columns and rowsAdjust gap (spacing) and margin (padding) as neededClick "Split Selected" to generate the gridMerge shapes:

Select 2 or more shapes (Rectangles, Frames, or Text)Click "Merge Selected" buttonThe shapes will be merged into a single bounding box
