About this plugin

Migrator is a powerful tool for automatically migrating component instances from one design system library to another while preserving all content and properties.

Example Use Cases:

• You've updated your design system and need to replace old components with new ones across multiple files

• You're switching to a new component library and want to migrate existing designs

• You need to replace multiple instances of one component with another, keeping all settings and text content

• You're consolidating component libraries and need to update instances in bulk

What the plugin automatically preserves:

• All component properties (variants, text values, boolean toggles, instance selections)

• Text content inside components and nested elements

• Settings for nested components and their configurations

• Element sizes and positions

• Component instance overrides

How it works:

1. Scan your selection to find component instances

2. Load a migration mapping file (JSON) that defines which components should be replaced with which
