How It Works

Simply select any Frame, Section, or Group in your Figma file, and the plugin automatically traverses the hierarchy to collect all relevant layer names. The plugin intelligently stops at asset boundaries (Frames, Components, Instances) while diving deeper into organizational containers (Sections, Groups, Component Sets) to give you exactly the layers you need.

Key Features

Smart Layer Detection

The plugin automatically identifies and extracts names from Frames, Instances, Components, Groups, Sections, and Component Sets (Variants). It updates in real-time as you change your selection.

Flexible Filtering

1. Layer Type Filters: Toggle which layer types to include in your export. By default, it captures Frames, Instances, and Components—the typical "asset" layers.
2. Exclude Text: Filter out layers containing specific text (e.g., "1x1", "_old", "v1") to clean up your list.

Sorting Options

Enable natural alphabetical sorting to organize your layer names logically (e.g., "icon-1", "icon-2", "icon-10" instead of "icon-1", "icon-10", "icon-2").

Clean Output

Duplicate names are automatically removed, giving you a clean, unique list ready for documentation or development specs.

Visual Feedback

A live badge shows your layer count, and a settings indicator lets you know when filters are active—all within a polished dark/light mode interface that matches your system preferences.
