Turn your Figma file into a lightweight file storage system.

File Uploader lets you embed any file—PDFs, ZIPs, MP4s, fonts, or project documents—directly inside your Figma canvas, without relying on external servers, links, or cloud storage.

Uploaded files are stored inside the Figma file itself and appear as clean, visual File Card Frames on the canvas.

How to upload a file

1. Run the File Uploader plugin.
2. Drag and drop any file into the plugin window.
3. A File Card Frame containing the file is created on the canvas.

How to download a file

1. Select a File Card Frame on the canvas.
2. Open the plugin — it automatically switches to Download mode.
3. Click Download File to save it back to your computer.

1. Upload any file type (up to 10MB)
2. Files are stored inside the Figma file itself
