About this plugin
Welcome to Font Variable. Use these steps to create a clean, reusable typography system.
1. Open the Font Variable plugin in Figma.
2. Choose what you want to generate: Body Text or Headings.
3. Enter a name for the folder where styles will be created.
4. Select a font family and a starting font size.
5. Choose the font sizes you want and decide between automatic or manual scaling.
6. Select font weights or let the plugin detect available weights for you.
7. Set line height and letter spacing, or keep them automatic.
8. Optional: In Advanced, enable variable support and connect to a variable collection.
9. Click Generate to create text styles and variables.
