About this plugin

Let That Sync In

Stop manually replacing images. Start syncing.

This plugin creates a seamless round-trip workflow between Figma and your external image editors. By binding layer tags to filenames, you can update your entire design system with a single click.

The Workflow

Tag & Export Select any image-filled layer and assign a tag (e.g., hero_banner). Use the plugin to export these layers; they are automatically named after their tags and saved to your project folder.

Edit Externally Open your PNGs in Photoshop, Affinity, or Procreate. Make your adjustments and save the file using the original name.

Sync Back Run the plugin and select “Choose images & Sync”. The plugin matches filenames to your Figma tags and instantly replaces the fills. One edited file can update dozens of layers simultaneously.

Why Use It?

It is perfect for hero images, product photography, and complex artwork that requires professional post-processing outside of Figma. As long as the Tag name = Filename, your mockups will always stay updated with your latest assets.
