Live Content is a Figma plugin that generates AI-powered text directly inside Figma and applies it to selected text layers — no copy-paste required.

Designers often switch between Figma and AI tools just to generate demo content. This breaks flow and slows down iteration. Live Content solves that by bringing AI content generation into your design workspace.

What It Does

• Generate realistic demo content (emails, names, product titles, descriptions, paragraphs, lists, etc.)

• Apply different generated content across multiple selected text layers

• Automatically adapt output based on selection count

• Save prompt history for reuse

• Reapply content from history without making a new API call

• Export history as CSV (columns = prompts, rows = generated content)

• Import CSV to restore or move your content library

How It Works

1. Enter your API key in Settings.
2. Write a prompt on the List page.
3. Select one or multiple text layers.
4. Click Apply.

The generated content is mapped to your selection automatically.

If more than 20 text layers are selected, the plugin generates up to 20 results and distributes them randomly to avoid over-processing.

API Setup to get started:

1. Generate an API key from https://studio.ai21.com/
2. Paste the key into the Settings page
3. Save

Your API key & contents are stored locally and never leaves your machine.
