Font Awesome Icon Replicator is a Figma plugin that automates the creation of large Font Awesome icon component sets from a YAML metadata file. It takes a template component wrapper (FA_icon) containing a nested Font Awesome v6-icon instance, then duplicates it for each icon listed in your categories.yml file. The plugin updates each duplicate by injecting the appropriate icon name string into the v6-icon's text property, detaches it from the template, and converts it into a standalone component organized by category (e.g., arrows/chevron-left, social/comment). This eliminates the manual work of creating hundreds of wrapper components individually, while preserving style settings (Solid, Regular, Thin, etc.) and organizing icons using a clean slash-based naming convention.
