About this plugin
Icons Exporter lets you batch-export icon components, component sets and instances from your current Figma selection. No manual file naming, no hunting for the right layer — just select, validate, export.
Features & usage:
Select source — choose Selection (also works with multiple selected nodes) or enter a Frame ID manually (it will stay this way no matter what the selection is and be remembered across launches).
Filter by criteria — type a name pattern like icn/* to match only relevant components; supports prefix, suffix (*name), and substring (*name*) matching.
Validate before export — the log shows matched icon count and any skipped non-matching items (clickable — jump to node).
Exports a ZIP archive with all matched SVGs, named and ready to use.
Names are based on the final name part (after the last slash). For component sets, it's unpacked by variants and named using the parent’s name combined with the variant property value.
Supports Dev Mode and Figma’s Dark UI theme.
