About this plugin

Move, merge, and rename design system libraries without breaking your file.

Library Migration Kit relinks local components, styles, and variables to a published library by matching them on name, across every category at once. It is the migration Figma's built-in Swap Libraries can't do: it reconnects items that started life inside your file, and it keeps your variables, modes, and overrides intact.

Use it when you:

Duplicated or rebuilt a library and need to reconnect everythingMerged or renamed a design system and broke the linksHave local styles or components that should point to the shared libraryWant to move raw values onto library variablesThree tools, one window:

Relink: reconnect local items to the matching library item by nameFix links: repair broken or missing library referencesTo variables: bind raw values to your library variablesPreview always shows the full count before anything changes, and every run is a single undo.

Free for everyday work, with Apply capped at 50 relinks per run. A one-time license lifts the cap to unlimited and unlocks renamed-item mapping plus CSV/JSON report export.

Private by design: all matching happens inside the plugin. Your designs never leave Figma.
