State variants

Building interactive components by hand means creating each state variant, then wiring every prototype connection one by one. State variants does both in one click.

Select a component or frame, choose which states you need — default, hover, pressed, selected, active, disabled, loading, focus, or your own custom states — and hit Create. The plugin generates a named variant set, lays it out cleanly, and automatically wires the prototype interactions: hover and press transitions with Smart Animate, correct easing, and production-ready durations (200ms hover, 100ms press).

Your state list is saved per file, so your team's conventions stay consistent across components. Reorder states by dragging, toggle them on and off, and rename them inline.

Built for design systems work: the pressed state transitions from hover (not default), which eliminates the flash-on-release bug you get from naive wiring.
