Profile Picture Check — avatar circle crop for X, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and Slack preview

About this plugin

You finish the mark at 1024 pixels, it goes up as the profile picture, and the corner of the wordmark is gone because the platform cut a circle out of your square. Profile Picture Check shows you that in Figma, before you upload.

Select your profile picture frames and click Preview and check. Next to each frame you get the picture cropped the way each app crops it, at the size it shows it: beside an X post, in the LinkedIn feed, on a Facebook Page at 176 px with the 36 px phone size beside it, on a YouTube channel at 98 px, and beside a Slack message as a rounded square. Then the checks:

Square, which every platform here crops to firstAnything sitting outside the circle, named, with how far past the edge it sitsSize against what each platform publishes: X 400, LinkedIn 400 to 7680, a LinkedIn Page logo 268 to 400, Facebook 320, Slack 512 to 1024, and the export scales to get thereA transparent frame, which LinkedIn shows on white and asks you to test on light and darkWeight, exported inside the plugin and measured against X's 2 MB, LinkedIn's 8 MB, a LinkedIn Page's 3 MB and YouTube's 15 MBHow small your smallest text ends up beside a postEvery size comes from the platform's own help page, and the plugin shows the date they were last checked. The X, LinkedIn and Slack display sizes are the plugin's own, measured from the apps.
