About this plugin

Analyze touch reachability directly in Figma.

Touch Zone Analyzer helps automotive UX/UI designers evaluate the relative reachability of vehicle displays by generating a continuous touch-reachability overlay directly on the Figma canvas.

Select a frame, choose a vehicle and display, adjust the interaction parameters, and generate a visual reachability field in seconds.

Touch ReachabilityVisualizes relative reachability as a continuous radial gradient:

🟢 Green — easiest to reach🟡 Yellow — moderate reachability🟠 Orange — higher effort🔴 Red — difficult to reachThe result is generated as a single transparent, native Figma rectangle that can be moved, adjusted or removed without modifying the original HMI design.

It provides a design-level reachability heuristic, not a validated ergonomic or biomechanical measurement.

LimitationsThe model uses a simplified reachability calculation and does not simulate complete human biomechanics, posture, movement or individual driver characteristics.

Results should therefore be used for design exploration and comparison, not as a substitute for validated ergonomic testing or certification.
