Text››helper

Mostly now native in Figma. Find, replace and insert text content and view the current selected character count.

Sometimes you have lots of text that repeats, and it's not part of a component/instance system. When you want to simply and easily replace the contents of each of those, you can quickly grab Text››helper to help you!

There's three main ways to replace something:

Type text into the Find input, type replacement text in the Replace input and press "Find & Replace" (or hit enter) to replace everything that matchesSelect a single item to fill the Find input with that text value, type replacement text in the Replace input and press "Find & Replace" (or hit enter) to replace everything that matchesHighlight multiple items, type a value in the Replace input and press "Replace only" (or hit enter) to replace everything within your current selectionYou can also insert text before or after your selected strings, great for easily prepending or appending "-light" to your selection. And you can easily see the current selection(s) total character count.
